Tonight we will be using CoverItLive to do a LiveBlog on the Election. We'll be scouring the internet for rumours and results to try and provide up to the minute news on who is winning and where. At around 9.30pm a post will pop up and, in theory, you should be able to just read the window from when the 'event' starts at 10pm. We have integrated the @BritainVotes twitter feed into the LiveBlog so anything we tweet will show up there as well. The program does allow for readers comments but because the feed is likely to be very busy we have disabled that for tonight. We'd like to encourage you to get in touch on twitter or, if you agree with our PM and feel too many twits make a twat, to leave comments in the BlogPost.
For readers who have been with us a while this essentially going to be a massive version of our usual Thursday night Live Tweeting service we do for by-elections. Due to the sheer number of elections taking place tonight we are prioritising our own internet searching so, if you have any exciting information just mention @BritainVotes in the tweet and we'll RT. Between us all we can keep ahead of the MSN, and feel thoroughly smug about it to boot!
We wish anyone standing in any of today's elections good luck and look forward to hearing the results as they come in.
Also, if you haven't already…DON'T FORGET TO VOTE!!!
