By-Election Watch (28/03/11)

This week has seen a rush of Councils picking May 5^th as the date to fill their vacant seats. This was expected and in addition there have been many more Councillors resigning recently so as they can be replaced in 'double vacancy' elections on the same day. As much as I would like to cover all the by-elections taking place on 5^th May there just aren't enough hours in the day! As there are already a couple of excellent resources for keeping track of Council vacancies I'll leave the job of collating the numerous by-elections taking place on May 5^th to them.
