Introducing: Andrew Teale

Britain-Votes.co.uk are pleased to announce that the webmaster of the excellent Local Election Archive Project Andrew Teale will be helping out with the by-election coverage on the site. Andrew offered his services after our notice at the weekend that we would be cutting back on our by-election coverage due to lack of time.

Providing local Council by-election previews will be nothing new for Andrew as he has been doing likewise for the Atlas Forum (which we link to in our BlogRoll/Resource List) for the past year. Although he is not a member of any political party he is part of the Astley Bridge Conservative Club Quiz Team and is a member of the Electoral Reform Society.

Aside from politics Andrew is a Clarinet player with the Lancashire Band of the Royal Regiment of Fusilier and a successful Quiz player (his team are currently ranked 32nd in the UK). You can scan through his impressive list of Quiz related achievements on his homepage; including appearances on University Challenge, Mastermind and a winner on Battle of the Brains.

Andrew's debut post will be up later this evening; previewing all eight of tomorrow's by-elections.
