A few more vacancies have arisen during the last week and the dates for some of those already known have been set. They include Coatbridge North in North Lanarkshire, which our very own Scottish correspondent Kristofer Keane is going to be too involved with to cover himself so he has delegated the responsibility to me!

There are three by-elections this week and the usual service will be provided, despite my current business.
