There has been a lot of action on the forthcoming by-election front this week, although I am sad to report that this is mostly due to the deaths of sitting Councillors. There are already nine by-elections called for September and with a further 14 pending vacancies we are in for a busy autumn. There are three by-elections this Thursday, including a three-way-marginal in London, so pop back for the usual previews, LiveBlogging and analysis later in the week.
